Of nature in Islantilla we shall also mention the sand dunes, pinetrees, and it´s habitat. Along the Aracena Sierra there are also lots of spaces of abundant vegetation along the beaches and municipalites of Lepe and Isla Cristina.

The Park of Los Cabezos is a unique park that borders the Islantilla golf course, along the coast. Isla Cristina with it´s sand dunes and pine trees are also lovely places to see and visit. You shall not miss out on the spectacular sunsets.

Speaking of nature in Islantilla, there is also the Natural Park of Marismas de Isla Cristina. Kilometers of virgin beaches, and an endless amount of sea birds. There are also birds typical of this area and migrating birds. This spot is also known as the Marismas del Rio Piedras.

These spaces are of great ecological interest, it is for this reason that many studies are made by the Foundation of the Center for Marine Studies.
