The history of Islantilla is a short one, since it has only existed for a few decades. It was born in a time of real estate growth, with the joint managament of Lepe and Isla Cristina City Halls.

This ambitious project was built with the objective to better the hotel infrastructures and amount of activities to offer those who enjoy going on holiday in Islantilla. Hotels and apartments, golf courses, sport facilities, restaurants, shopping centers... all of this was the idea of what Islantilla should be, and today we can finally say it´s a reality.

In Islantilla they have coordinated the private and public initiative, both as investments making this area a quality location.

More than 3,000 accomodations like hotels and apartments to choose from. Shopping centers, 27 hole golf course, private urbanizations, paddel and tennis courts, swimming pools, beach...all of this is possible due to the joint management of Islantilla.
